Job summary

Candescent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable software solutions across mobile and backend platforms. You will implement features, write clean code, and participate in an AI-driven lifecycle to optimize delivery and performance.

You will collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to translate business needs into robust technical solutions and contribute to the roadmap with insights on architecture, tooling, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent degree.
• 5+ years in IT with 3+ years building apps using React Native.
• 3+ years of Spring Boot development.
• Experience with highly transactional mobile apps.
• Experience with REST APIs, XML & JSON.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Implement features and deliver production-ready code.
• Create technical docs, system diagrams, and debugging reports.
• Work in an AI driven software life cycle.
• Conduct performance optimizations and monitor key metrics.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and Engineers to translate business needs into features.
• Support definition of acceptance criteria for testing.
