Job summary

Dell Technologies' ISG Developer Experience in Hopkinton, MA seeks a Senior Software Engineer to shape AI-assisted development and agent operations at enterprise scale. You will design, build, and operate services and tooling that empower thousands of engineers to create with AI.

Collaborate with product, architecture, security, and infra teams to implement CI/CD, lifecycle management, and shared frameworks. Drive standards for knowledge bases and developer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a software engineering role.
• Strong CI/CD, DevOps, and developer tooling experience.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems into concrete outputs.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, security, and infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and operate the agentic harness including CI/CD integrations, pipeline quality gates, orchestration capabilities, and MCP integrations that support end-to-end agent workflows.
• Develop and manage the agent lifecycle framework, including agent versioning, testing, validation, compliance reviews, deployment processes, and release management within the enterprise agent registry.
• Build and maintain shared services, reusable frameworks, developer tooling, and cross-platform integrations that accelerate adoption and ensure consistency across product and engineering teams.
• Define, implement, and maintain technical standards for knowledge base content, metadata, structure, and accessibility to ensure high-quality inputs for agentic systems and workflows.
• Drive engineering best practices across the agentic ecosystem — including automation, testing, observability, reliability, and continuous improvement of platform performance and developer experience.
