Job summary

Dell Technologies in Hopkinton MA (and Austin TX) is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer for AI Development & Agent Ops to design, build, and scale AI-enabled software for thousands of engineers. You will lead the agent lifecycle framework, develop reusable tooling, and work with Product Security, Cybersecurity, Risk and Compliance to embed security across the SDLC and agentic platforms.

Qualifications

10+ years in software/ platform leadership or security engineering.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development and modern SDLC.
Ability to work with security, governance and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and refine services and platforms for AI agents at enterprise scale.
Develop and manage agent lifecycle framework, versioning, testing, and release processes.
Create shared tooling, frameworks, and cross-platform integrations for adoption.
Partner with Product Security, Cybersecurity, Legal, Risk, and Compliance.
Identify AI-specific security risks and address data exposure and access controls.
Drive engineering best practices, observability, and developer experience.
