Dell Technologies is recruiting for a Principal Software Engineer for AI Development & Agent Ops in Hopkinton, MA. This role leads the design, build, and refinement of services to empower thousands of engineers to create software with AI agents at scale.

You will partner with product and security teams, drive CI/CD, tooling, and platform enhancements, and shape the enterprise agent lifecycle and governance. Compensation reflects seniority and enterprise scale responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a software engineering role.
• Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, developer tooling and AI/agentic development landscape.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, security, and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and refine services that enable ~9,000 engineers to develop with AI agents.
• Engineer and operate the agentic harness including CI/CD integrations, orchestration capabilities, and MCP integrations for end-to-end agent workflows.
• Define, implement, and maintain technical standards for knowledge base content, metadata, structure, and accessibility for agentic systems and workflows.
