Job summary

Credence is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and modernize enterprise software solutions for a DoD aviation program. You will build scalable applications, APIs, and microservices, emphasizing cloud-native architectures and secure development practices.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field is required.
• 15 years of directly related professional experience in software engineering or related disciplines.
• Experience with Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript in production environments.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise software applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure enterprise software, APIs, and microservices.
• Design secure, cloud-native software architectures and contribute to stack-wide decisions.
• Support deployment through containers and CI/CD; modernize legacy systems with automation and cloud technologies.
• Apply engineering best practices—source control, automated testing, code review, documentation.
• Ensure compliance with secure software development standards and government cybersecurity requirements.
• Build AI-enabled capabilities and integrate them into production systems.
