Job summary

Credence Management Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and modernize enterprise software solutions for DoD aviation programs. You will build scalable apps, APIs, and microservices while driving AI-enabled automation and cloud-native architectures.

The role spans software engineering, cloud technologies, DevSecOps, and enterprise analytics to improve mission readiness and logistics across complex environments.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 15 years of directly related professional experience.
• Experience in software engineering, application development, or related technical disciplines.
• Strong programming experience in modern languages and production software development.
• Experience developing APIs, distributed systems, microservices, or SOA.
• Experience with cloud environments and containerized deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure enterprise software, APIs, and microservices.
• Design secure, cloud-native software architectures and contribute to stack decisions.
• Support deployment through containers and CI/CD; modernize legacy systems via automation and cloud-enabled tech.
• Apply engineering best practices: source control, automated testing, code review, documentation.
• Ensure compliance with secure software development standards and government cybersecurity requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship; collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex challenges.
