Job summary

Credence is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and modernize enterprise software for one of the Department of Defense's critical aviation programs. The role emphasizes scalable APIs, cloud-native architectures, and AI-enabled automation to improve mission readiness and logistics.

The successful candidate will lead development across software engineering, cloud technologies, DevSecOps, and enterprise analytics while mentoring teammates and ensuring

Qualifications

• 15 years of directly related professional experience.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on production experience.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise software applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure enterprise software, APIs, and microservices.
• Design secure, cloud-native software architectures and contribute to stack decisions.
• Support deployment through containers and CI/CD, and modernize legacy systems via automation.
• Lead and mentor engineers, shaping engineering standards across the team.
• Build AI-enabled capabilities and integrate them into production systems.
