Job summary

Base-2 Solutions in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement a data-centric architecture leveraging cloud computing, AI/ML, and cross-domain transfer systems. The role focuses on building reliable, scalable software solutions in a mission-driven environment.

You will work in a DevSecOps setup, lead integration and monitoring of systems, and develop applications using C#, API development, ETL, and Elasticsearch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in C# programming and API development.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, ETL processes, and application-level security.
• Hands-on experience with microservices and logging systems.

Responsibilities

• Work in a DevSecOps environment to ensure biometric systems and data availability.
• Lead integration, maintenance, and monitoring of software systems for resource availability.
• Design and enhance software systems including real-time analytics and MIS.
• Collaborate to develop enterprise AFEM capabilities.
• Participate in test, staging, and production deployments for reliability.
• Develop software applications using C#.
• Implement API development, ETL, and Elasticsearch.
• Use GitLab or Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Monitor automated tests and resolve system issues.
• Foster team collaboration to deliver high-quality solutions.
