Job summary
Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 in Maryland to support AI-focused cloud and platform engineering efforts. This role applies systems engineering to requirements analysis, design, planning, documentation, and integration of new capabilities into operations, with emphasis on cloud architecture, AI/ML systems, security, and data lifecycle management.
Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and demonstrate experience in cloud engineering (AWS) and AI/ML system
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
- Experience in systems engineering.
- Ability to interact with Government stakeholders and communicate with technical and senior leadership audiences.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
- Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
- Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
- Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
- Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
- Develop technical documentation.
- Develop system architecture and system design documentation.
- Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
- Interface with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
- Maintain responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the systems engineering area of responsibility.
- Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
