Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Software Engineer II with Anthropic AI experience to design, build, and deliver full-stack AI-enabled solutions for client engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment. The role emphasizes deploying microservices, integrating Claude models, and collaborating with product and engineering teams while maintaining production readiness and strong communication skills.

Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering with full-stack development, including 3+ years from requirements to production.
• 3+ years designing, developing and delivering AI/ML solutions.
• At least 6 months hands-on with Claude Agent SDK including agent orchestration and tool integration.
• At least 6 months deploying production solutions using Anthropic Claude models.
• At least 6 months applying prompt engineering and context engineering for AI solutions.
• 3+ years of full-stack experience using Python/Java/.NET/Go/Node.js and React/Angular/Vue.
• 2+ years client-facing development building REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and one year integrating Claude APIs in production.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS/Math or equivalent.
• Ability to travel 50% on average.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable full-stack features across front-end and back-end systems.
• Develop and support microservices, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, and IaC.
• Integrate large language model platforms and generative AI APIs, including Anthropic Claude, for context-aware features and tool workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions, estimate work, and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot defects, improve performance, write automated tests, and support production readiness activities.
• Lead projects or workstreams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
