Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is seeking a senior AI engineer to design and orchestrate a LangGraph-based multi-agent platform that classifies member intent and routes to the right agent.

You will work with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and containerized services to ensure safety, compliance, and scalable performance, with one day per week in the Omaha office and remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4-7 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with agentic AI in production; multi-agent systems with explicit state management.
• 2–3 years building/operating production LLM or agentic AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LangGraph-based multi-agent orchestration and routing.
• Develop context-preserving, fault-tolerant agent integration patterns.
• Manage state across turns and ensure safety/compliance in responses.
• Define ingestion, chunking, and retrieval quality for RAG pipelines.
• Build and test prompts with versioning and measurable performance.
