Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for the Agentic WorkSpaces initiative. You will translate complex requirements into scalable systems, drive architectural governance and enable cross-region releases across Windows and Linux.

You will partner with teams across Bedrock, Q and EC2 to enable safe autonomous agent actions, with a focus on collaboration between humans and AI agents and a unified code base.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and functional requirements into concrete system deliverables.
• Drive incremental system optimizations and raise the bar for operational excellence.
• Build 0->1 products from the ground up for agentic WorkSpaces.
• Partner with Bedrock, Q teams, and other orgs to leverage shared infra.
• Own unification strategies to ship Windows and Linux features from a single code base.
