Coder is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and evolve the systems that power our agentic development experience. You will work across the agent harness, integrations, and workflows that connect agents with real development environments.
You’ll stay hands-on, solve complex technical problems, and collaborate with Product, Design, and other engineers to ship reliable agentic experiences. Join a team designing scalable infrastructure for AI-enabled development workflows.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience building and operating production software systems.
- Proficiency with Go development.
- Experience with React and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and reliability.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker.
Responsibilities
- Design and build production systems in Go.
- Improve agent execution, tool use, and context management.
- Extend architecture as models change.
- Build integrations between agents, workspaces, tools, and development infra.
- Own projects from implementation through rollout.
- Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with Product and Design to ship agent capabilities.
- Improve reliability, performance, and operability of agentic systems.
