Job Description:

Senior Software Engineer needed by CG Infinity, Inc. in Plano, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to develop information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions using technologies including Azure, AWS, and GitHub. Responsibilities include evaluating operational feasibility, studying information needs, and developing solutions in languages such as .NET, C#, and JavaScript. The role involves demonstrating strong coding skills, performing root cause analysis, troubleshooting, developing test plans, automating systems with tools like Selenium and TestCafe, investigating problems, assessing risks, following the software development lifecycle, documenting solutions, reviewing work, mentoring peers, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions. The candidate will also write code in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, leverage cloud platforms, deploy solutions, conduct code reviews, participate in peer programming, and work with automation and business analysis, including designing automated testing frameworks and integrating Azure Pipelines with QA automation and CI/CD workflows. Deployment will involve tools like Octopus and Visual Cron, and version control systems such as Git.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 3 years of experience in developing information systems, including designing, developing, and installing software solutions with Azure, AWS, and GitHub
• Experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting
• Experience with QA automation and business analysis, including designing and implementing automated testing frameworks with JavaScript and TestCafe
• Experience integrating Azure Pipelines with QA automation and CI/CD workflows
• Experience deploying using Octopus and Visual Cron
• Proficiency with software version control systems such as Git
