Job summary

Globalstar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (L1/PHY) to design and implement real-time C/C++ software for high performing wireless systems. You will develop, test, and verify major features, participate in design reviews, and integrate with systems design and test teams to validate 3GPP concepts.

We value a BS in CS/CE, 7+ years of C/C++, 5+ years real-time Linux, and 5+ years with 4G/5G L1 specs. Nice-to-haves include Intel AVX-512, NIC drivers, DPDK, and strong testing skills.

Qualifications

• BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with C and/or Modern C++.
• 5+ years of experience developing software for real-time Linux systems.
• 5+ years of experience with 5G or 4G L1 (PHY Layer) specs and stack development.

Responsibilities
