Globalstar is seeking a Principal / Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead a team developing the next generation of high-throughput 5G NR wireless systems. You will architect, design, develop, and code major system features, guiding the software team to innovate and improve processes while working with cross-functional engineering groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on C/C++ software development experience.
• 7+ years of software and algorithm development for PHY (L1) 5G or LTE wireless systems.
• 7+ years of experience taking complex software from concept to finished products.
• 5+ years of experience developing software for real-time Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of software engineers to design and implement high-throughput 5G NR features.
• Architect, design, develop, and code major system features.
• Mentor and guide the software team and improve development processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, design, and test teams.
• Work with systems design and test teams to validate 3GPP concepts.
