Job summary

XCOM RAN by Globalstar is seeking a Principal / Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead a high performing team of engineers building the next generation of high-throughput 5G NR wireless systems. You will architect, design, develop, and code major system features while mentoring the team and improving development processes.

You will collaborate with systems design and test teams to integrate and validate novel 3GPP concepts, ensuring reliability, scalability and low latency in mission-critical

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software development with C and/or Modern C++.
• 7+ years of experience in software and algorithm development for PHY (L1) 5G or LTE wireless systems.
• 7+ years of experience taking complex software from concept to finished products.
• 5+ years of experience developing software for real-time Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of software engineers developing high-throughput 5G NR systems.
• Architect, design, and implement major system features for next-generation wireless platforms.
• Mentor the software team and collaborate with cross-functional engineering groups.
