Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep 3D graphics and engine expertise to join the ML Data Pod within Foundation AI. You will architect infrastructure powering next-generation AI capabilities, focusing on scalable synthetic data pipelines and advanced 3D data representations.

You will collaborate with AI researchers and core engine teams to translate model-training needs into engine features, impacting frontier 3DGen models and immersive content creation for millions of creators

Qualifications

5+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade software systems.
Deep expertise in 3D computer graphics, rendering pipelines, and game engine architecture.
Strong proficiency in C++ with highly optimized, scalable code.
Experience extracting or manipulating data from a complex engine environment.
Strong communication skills bridging ML researchers and low-level engineers.
Bonus: familiarity with machine learning data pipelines or 3D generative AI architectures.

Responsibilities

Spearhead synthetic data generation initiatives to procedurally produce high-fidelity 3D datasets.
Collaborate with AI researchers and engine teams to implement features safely and efficiently.
Design and optimize scalable graphics and engine-level systems for diverse spatial data.
Drive embedding of synthetic data workflows into existing engine architecture without impacting performance.
