T-Rex Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer 3 to join our team at Ft. Meade, MD, supporting a critical national security program focused on malware analysis modernization and enrichment services.

You will work with a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy high-performance Java REST applications and related services in a secure environment. The role requires deep system design experience, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, and the ability to mentor peers, conduct code reviews, and deliver

• Bachelor’s degree with 20 years of related experience or 25 years of related experience without a degree.
• Active TS/SCI w/ FSP required within 7 years.

Are you ready to make a significant impact by supporting critical national security infrastructure? T-Rex Solutions is looking for a fully cleared Senior Software Engineer 3 to join our dynamic team at Ft. Meade, MD in support of the Intelligence Community.

We are seekingdevelopers for a high priority and highly visible malware analysis modernization program. The individual will work with a team of dynamic and innovative engineers to develop new capabilities supporting the virtual malware containment enclave . The individual will also support the modernization of malware enrichment services.

Required Skills

• Experience with system design and developing large-scale, high-performance applications
• Kubernetes
• Experience with Message Broker Software (RabbitMQ/etc.)
• Ability to mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
• Ability to develop high-quality, efficient, and testable code
• Ability to debug complex, system-wide issues.
• Java Application (no front end necessary), REST
• Ability to multitask and pivot to different tasks quickly
• Experience with Atlassian tools, Git
• Experience with IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $190,000 - $225,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
