About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (8+ years) to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design and develop scalable, high-performance applications while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to architectural decisions.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver software that meets business goals and delights our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure software applications.
- Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, conducting code reviews and providing technical leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality releases.
- Participate in architectural discussions and technology strategy decisions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and proactively recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Go, or Node.js).
- Experience with web frameworks, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
- Hands‑on experience with databases (SQL & NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with event-driven systems, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Knowledge of distributed systems and high‑availability architecture.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code, and observability tools.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) is a plus.
- Previous experience in mentoring teams or leading projects.
