Pavago is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our fully remote US-based team. You will own end-to-end development of scalable, full-stack applications, building features with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript while delivering robust REST APIs and GraphQL services.

You will work across frontend, backend, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud), ensure high quality code, participate in CI/CD pipelines, and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Backend experience with Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, or similar.
• REST APIs and GraphQL experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Docker and CI/CD experience.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Ability to work remotely within U.S. business hours.

Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong full-stack development experience to build, improve, and maintain reliable software products.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across the frontend and backend, developing APIs, working with databases, and supporting cloud-based applications. You will work closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-quality solutions and improve existing systems.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience building and supporting production software applications.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD processes.
• Strong understanding of software development, debugging, testing, and code quality.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum or similar development processes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Availability during U.S. business hours.
