Job summary

Glorio Group is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications in Ohio. You will work across frontend and backend layers using React, Node.js, Java, or Python, with emphasis on robust APIs, databases, and secure design.

The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers, establishing best practices, and driving performance and reliability across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Several years of professional full stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework (React/Angular/Vue).
• Strong backend experience with Java, Python, Node.js, or C#.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and responsive design.
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git, testing, CI/CD, and modern workflows.
• Understanding of security, performance, and production troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in both frontend and backend development, a solid understanding of software architecture, and the ability to deliver reliable solutions across the entire technology stack. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build user-friendly applications, improve system performance, and contribute to technical decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications across frontend and backend systems.
• Build responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Develop robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and integrations using technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Design, implement, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish and maintain software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and documentation.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues across the application stack.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, data protection, and API security practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployment processes.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud to deploy and operate applications.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to decisions about system scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge across the team.

• Strong proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong backend development experience using Java, Python, Node.js, C#, or another comparable language.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and responsive web design.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and common design patterns.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
• Understanding of application security, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with event-driven systems, message queues, or distributed architectures.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, observability, and production reliability practices.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical planning.
