Job summary

Visionaire Partners seeks a Senior Software Engineer in St. Louis for a contract role through the end of 2026. You will develop Web and .NET-based applications, lead design reviews, and collaborate with business leaders to translate goals into technical specs.

Must have 7+ years of enterprise experience with C#, .NET Framework/ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, and APIs. Hybrid work with four days in the office and one day remote (Friday) is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full lifecycle software development experience in enterprise environments.
• Core Tech Stack: C#, .NET Framework/ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, and Web Services/APIs.
• Web Fundamentals: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, XML.
• Architecture: SOA, design patterns, and mission-critical system architecture.

Exciting contract opportunity for someone who loves technology, and is highly motivated to be successful and grow their career as a Senior Software Engineer within a top notch enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and deploying Web and .NET-based applications and services
• Leading and conducting design and code reviews for both peers and junior developers
• Participating and being an advocate for issue resolution and change control processes
• Working closely with business leaders to understand strategic and financial objectives and then translating them into technical specifications and applications
• Leading and participating in architecture and design meetings for major components and sub-systems
• Developing and documenting designs for components, modules and sub-systems
• Assisting Director with defining and estimating project task effort and required resources
• Recommending and driving best practices, standards, processes and tools

This is a contract opportunity through the end of 2026. Candidates must be located in St. Louis, MO and work 4 days a week in office and 1 day remotely (Friday)!
