Senior Software Engineer

OBIX - Remote

We are looking for individuals with proven experience in software development, design, and architecture to help us provide new solutions and enhancements to our industry-leading, FDA-regulated healthcare software suite. As part of the team, you will be designing and implementing new products and modules and enhancing existing products, with a strong focus on customer requirements and quality assurance. Responsibilities

1. Communicate with product managers to define requirements.
2. Design and implement products with the Engineering team.
3. Conduct requirements analysis, product design, and documentation.
4. Participate in design reviews, project estimation, implementation, testing, and debugging.
5. Develop and maintain technical documentation.
6. Support technical and support staff with materials and instructions.
7. Work closely with the Software V & V Team Lead and testing teams.
8. Assist with customer requests, issues, and sales support.
9. Support clinical implementation as needed.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
2. 7+ years of programming experience with object-oriented development.
3. Proficiency in Python and C++ in Linux and/or Windows environments.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Experience with web technologies, databases, networking, and operating systems.
6. Experience in regulated industries is preferred.
7. Ability to understand complex business concepts and translate them into technical solutions.
8. Strong documentation skills.
