We are seeking a Software Engineer to focus on our Manitou Software, a platform designed for the Security and Alarm industry. Manitou monitors and manages security alarms and surveillance systems, including intrusion sensors, fire alarms, and video cameras.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop sophisticated software with industry experts.
• Create innovative features and integrate with third-party services.
• Modernize our platform and debug/maintain existing software.

Skills and Experience Needed:

• 7+ years of coding experience in C# and .NET.
• Experience with Angular and AngularJS front-end development.
• Developing web applications, APIs, and services.
• Proficiency with T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Designing fault-tolerant, highly available systems.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns and best practices.
• Debugging and testing complex systems.

Nice to Haves:

• C++ experience.
• Windows Forms and MFC applications.
• VB6 and COM components.
• Unit testing, mocks, TDD techniques.
• Windows services experience.
