Job Description: Senior Software Engineer needed by CG Infinity, Inc. in Plano, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to develop information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions using technologies including Azure, AWS, and GitHub. Responsibilities include evaluating operational feasibility, studying information needs, and designing software solutions in languages such as .NET, C#, and JavaScript. The role requires demonstrating strong coding skills, performing root cause analysis, troubleshooting, developing test plans, and automation using tools like Selenium and TestCafe. The engineer will also investigate problems, assess risks, follow the software development lifecycle, document solutions, review work, mentor peers, and collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions. Coding will involve languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, with deployment on cloud platforms like Azure and AWS. The role includes configuring and deploying solutions, conducting code reviews, participating in peer programming, and working with automation and business analysis to design automated testing frameworks. Integration with Azure Pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and deployment tools like Octopus and Visual Cron is essential. Version control with Git is also required.

Minimum Requirements: A Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in developing information systems, including designing, developing, and installing software solutions with Azure, AWS, and GitHub; performing root cause analysis; working with QA automation and automated testing frameworks with JavaScript and TestCafe; integrating Azure Pipelines with QA automation and CI/CD workflows; deploying with Octopus and Visual Cron; and utilizing Git for version control.
