Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Phoenix, AZ to design, develop and maintain software for internal and external customers. You will work on full-stack web applications using .NET, C#, MVC and JavaScript, including UI, service layers and databases.

You will participate in Agile processes, review code, mentor junior associates, and contribute to on-call support. On-site collaboration with diverse teams is expected, with a strong emphasis on quality and security.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years, or 7+ years experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in primary tech stack: .NET, C#, MVC, JavaScript.
• Demonstrable experience in full stack web development: UI, middleware, and DB.
• Experience in Agile development processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience with database tech; able to write complex SQL statements.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, SQL, UI design, Web services, OO design, security.

• Involved in Level II on-call support.

Skills and Requirements

• Master’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited collegeor university and 5+ years of relevant experience, or 7+ years of equivalent experience
• 5+ years’ experience in primary technology stack: .NET, C#, MVC, JavaScript
• Demonstrable experience in full stack web application software development – front end Web UI,middle tier service layer, and back end database
• Experience in Agile development processes, methodologies, and tools
• Demonstrable experience working with database technologies, able to write complex SQL statementsto read, update, insert, and delete data
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, SQL, Web User Interface Design, Web Services, Object-Oriented Design, and Security Principles
