Job summary

Clover, a Fiserv company, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale digital products for the restaurant vertical. You will drive full-stack development, owning complex projects end-to-end and mentoring peers to deliver reliable experiences for diners.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, write and test code across the stack, and help grow the team's capabilities through code reviews and leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of web development with React and Next.js.
• 3+ years backend development with Java or C#.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL databases.
• 3+ years of cloud platform experience (AWS or GCP).
• 3+ years of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on TypeScript experience across frontend and backend.
• Ability to lead projects end-to-end in evolving scope.

You will drive full-stack development to help restaurant owners and staff manage daily operations while delivering seamless, dependable experiences for diners. In this role, you will take ownership of complex, evolving projects end-to-end, mentor fellow engineers, and shape resilient technical solutions that power millions of interactions.

What You Will Do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-performing software applications that align with Clover's strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate business requirements into clear, scalable technical specifications.
• Write, test, and debug code across the stack to ensure system reliability and optimal performance.

What You Will Need To Have

• 6+ years of software development experience (or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or military service).
• 5+ years of web development experience, including 4+ years of front-end development with React and Next.js.
• 3+ years of back-end development experience using Java, C#, or similar programming languages.
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL databases.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud platform services (AWS or GCP).
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience developing applications with TypeScript and the ability to work comfortably across frontend and backend technology stacks.
• Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end when scope is ambiguous or continuously evolving.

What Would Be Great To Have

• Direct experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Extended hands-on expertise with advanced CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.

You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Salary Range

$128,000.00 - $216,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
