Onward Search is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a contract role in Brooklyn, NY. You will lead backend and API work, collaborate across product, legal, and engineering teams, and ship production-grade code in PHP, Python, Java, or Go.

The position follows a hybrid onsite schedule (Tue, Wed, Thu) with responsibilities spanning problem framing through deployment and production support, including incident response and system observability.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience building reliable backend and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one production language (PHP, Python, Java or Go).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and incident response.
• Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate across teams.
• Interest in privacy concepts such as data minimization, access controls, and compliance.
