Job summary

Providing IT Services in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a senior backend engineer to own the server side architecture end to end. You will design APIs, data models, and deployment pipelines while setting technical direction for at least one client account and advocating it in reviews.

You will review peers’ code, raise the floor for developers learning, and own monitoring and incident response for your deployments. Remote or hybrid options exist based on client needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production backend systems.
• Deep Node.js or PHP, and fluency in relational data modelling.
• Experience running what you built in production.
• Writing clear enough to correspond with a client sponsor without a translator layer.
