Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Software Engineer to participate in Scrum ceremonies, develop APIs, and provide production support. You will collaborate with teammates to translate requirements into solutions and design, implement, and test software features.

Ideal candidates have a BS in CS or related field, 3+ years in software engineering, strong debugging skills, knowledge of Linux/Unix, SQL, Java, Spring, Python, AWS, and experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic and Datadog.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experience
• Three or more years of Software Engineering experience with a focus on APIs and system integration
• More than 2 years of experience in agile methodologies
• Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of portal software, design, and development
• Strong technical documentation skills
