Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, Microservices, MongoDB, and Databricks, and will be responsible for leading the enhancement of features to modernize our legacy PLM applications. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles, a passion for creating efficient and scalable solutions, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of software components using Python.
• Enhance and modernize legacy PLM applications, ensuring they meet current industry standards and user expectations.
• Develop and maintain microservices architecture to support scalable and efficient application performance.
• Utilize MongoDB for efficient data storage and retrieval, ensuring optimal database performance.
• Leverage Databricks for data analytics and processing to enhance application features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and UI engineers, to deliver high-quality features.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain competitive.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to software development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python, Microservices, MongoDB, and Databricks.
• Proven experience in modernizing legacy applications and enhancing existing features.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other programming languages and frameworks.
• Knowledge of PLM systems and their specific requirements.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
