Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Irving, TX. This is a 24+ month contract position.

Responsibilities

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering
• Contribute to large-scale software engineering planning efforts
• Review and analyze engineering challenges requiring evaluation of variable factors
• Drive resolution of moderately complex technical issues
• Ensure compliance with engineering policies, procedures, and standards
• Collaborate with internal partners across engineering teams

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of hands-on Java development
• 5+ years of experience with Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring, Hibernate)
• 3+ years of microservices development experience
• 3+ years working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
• 2+ years of Agile software development experience

Pay Range: $44-54
