Job summary

Humana seeks a leader to design and modernize full-stack applications for Wisconsin Medicaid. You will guide front-end and back-end work, manage data and integrations, and drive hosting improvements across environments.

You will mentor engineers, ensure security and HIPAA alignment, and partner with architecture and platform teams to raise reliability and automation across the tech stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required.
• At least five years of software application or infrastructure design, development, and testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with .NET, SQL Server, Windows-based services, and cloud solutions (preferably Azure).
• Healthcare technology experience is a plus and knowledge of HIPAA constraints is beneficial.

Job description

Lead hands-on design, development, and modernization of full-stack applications across Wisconsin Medicaid’s two health plan technology environments, spanning front end, back end, data, integrations, and hosting. Set technical direction, improve reliability and automation, address technical debt, meet security and HIPAA requirements, and mentor engineers while collaborating with architecture and platform teams.

Requirements:

Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, at least five years of software application or infrastructure design, development, and testing experience, and hands-on experience with .NET, SQL Server, Windows-based services, and cloud solutions, preferably Azure. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, Docker and Kubernetes/AKS knowledge, healthcare technology experience, and at least two years building responsive React applications.
