Humana is seeking a senior software leader to drive hands-on design, development, and modernization of applications and platforms across multiple stacks. You will set technical direction, reduce debt, and enhance reliability and automation while mentoring engineers to ensure secure, compliant delivery.

The role emphasizes full-stack proficiency in .NET, Azure, React, Docker, and Kubernetes, with a strong focus on healthcare domain experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
• 5+ years of software application or infrastructure experience.
• 2–5 years hands-on experience with .NET, SQL Server, and Windows-based services.
• Cloud solution experience, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on design, development, and modernization of applications and platforms across front-end, back-end, data, integrations, and hosting.
• Set technical direction across multiple health plan technology stacks, reduce technical debt, improve reliability and automation.

Job description

Lead hands-on design, development, and modernization of applications and platforms across front-end, back-end, data, integrations, and hosting for the Wisconsin Medicaid Market. Set technical direction across multiple health plan technology stacks, reduce technical debt, improve reliability and automation, and mentor engineers while ensuring secure, compliant delivery.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, at least five years of software application or infrastructure experience, and two to five years of hands-on experience with .NET, SQL Server, and Windows-based services. Cloud solution experience, preferably with Azure, is required; preferred qualifications include a master's degree, Docker and Kubernetes knowledge, healthcare experience, and at least two years building responsive React applications.
