Abode Money is building the financial home for your home.

Our mission is simple: Make homeownership more affordable for everyday homeowners. We’re using AI to automate the hard parts of saving on home costs such as property tax, insurance, utilities and more.

We see a future where AI does the heavy lifting for homeowners (analyzing data, fetching documents, filling forms) - so homeowners can avoid headaches and live more affordably. No one is doing this today, and we see creating an ongoing relationship with homeowners as a massive gap in the market.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is autonomous, reliable, cool under pressure and deeply capable - the person people trust with the hard problems. You’ll own major product and system areas end-to-end, from architecture to production reliability. You’ll work closely with the founders to build the infrastructure that powers Abode Money.

This is a high-autonomy role for those that do their best work when given space, responsibility, and trust.

Basic Qualifications

• You’re in Austin or willing to relocate. We work 4 days per week in person.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in high-ownership environments.
• Strong foundation in full-stack development with modern languages and cloud infrastructure. Exact stack experience is flexible; strong engineers ramp quickly.
• A genuine enthusiasm for using and mastering modern AI tools and workflows.
