Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Chantilly, VA to join a large, skilled team working on Web-based applications. The role emphasizes backend development within a full-stack environment and requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years of developer experience, strong Java skills, and Linux proficiency. Core hours are 9 AM to 4 PM, with a 40-hour week; on-call rotation begins after onboarding.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related information technology discipline, and/or relevant work experience is required
• Strong Java programming skills / Java persistence API experience for complex database schemas
• Java web services experience (JAX/WS)
• Strong understanding, knowledge of Linux (CLI)
• Experience in working on teams utilizing Agile workflows and processes
• Working knowledge of the Spring frameworks/Boot

Responsibilities

• Will work with a large team of developers, DevOPS engineers, security engineers, systems engineers, and data engineers
• Backend-focused development within a full stack role, primarily backend services
• Be part of an on-call rotation after onboarding, addressing system issues after hours
