Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Developer – Scrum Master to support a mission-critical air traffic management platform. The role blends hands-on Java development with SAFe Agile leadership, in a hybrid setup requiring onsite work in Gaithersburg, MD; Eagan, MN; or Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

You will design and build cloud-native microservices and RESTful APIs, facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage PI planning, and collaborate with Product Owners and Release Train Engineers to

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with CS/SE background.
• 5+ years building production Java applications.
• 2+ years Scrum Master experience in SAFe at scale.
• Strong Java, Spring, microservices, and RESTful API skills.
• Experience with front-end tech and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain production-quality Java applications and APIs.
• Serve as Scrum Master for SAFe Agile team, lead sprint planning and PI planning.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to manage dependencies.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for DevSecOps initiatives.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems and integrate with legacy AIR traffic controls.
