Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Developer - Scrum Master to support modernizing vital national aviation systems with a next-generation air traffic management platform. The role is hybrid with onsite work in Gaithersburg, MD; Eagan, MN; or Egg Harbor Township, NJ, splitting time between hands-on Java development and leading an Agile program.

You will serve as Scrum Master for a SAFe team, drive PI planning and sprint ceremonies, and collaborate with Product Owners and Release

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing, testing, and reviewing production Java applications.
• 2+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master within a SAFe Agile environment on a large-scale software development program.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, microservices, and RESTful APIs, including JSON, XML, and XSD.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Git, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience with front-end technologies, including React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and successfully complete required government background investigations.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, review, deploy, and maintain production-quality Java applications, cloud-native microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Serve as Scrum Master for an Agile development team, facilitating sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and Program Increment (PI) planning.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and cross-functional teams to manage dependencies, remove blockers, and ensure successful delivery.
• Support DevSecOps initiatives through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Troubleshoot and maintain complex distributed systems while supporting integration with legacy air traffic control systems and next-generation platform components.

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Developer - Scrum Master to support a company focused on modernizing critical national aviation systems through the development of a next-generation air traffic management platform.This position is hybrid, requiring onsite support in Gaithersburg, MD; Eagan, MN; or Egg Harbor Township, NJ. The Senior Software Developer – Scrum Master will split their time between hands-on Java software development and leading a SAFe Agile development team, contributing to cloud-native applications while facilitating Agile ceremonies and driving project delivery. This is an opportunity to work on a mission-critical platform that will help improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of U.S. air traffic operations.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $150,000- $180,000 depending on experience.
