Job summary

AMEWAS in Maryland is seeking a Senior Software Developer (WSCE-JSE) to design and integrate software for an advanced synthetic training environment. You will contribute to real-time simulation, pilot training support, and multi-language integration (C++, Python, Java).

The role requires on-site work at Patuxent River, MD, with DoD security clearances and a mature DevOps workflow (CI/CD) across Windows and Linux, leveraging CMake, Git, and distributed architectures to deliver the Joint

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 10 years of relevant work experience.
• 10 years of C/C++ development for real-time event reconstruction and simulation.
• Multi-threaded parallel processing, threading and IPC for large streaming data.
• Distributed software architectures using service-oriented design and message-driven frameworks.
• CMake, Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps on Linux clusters.
• Experience with modeling and simulation, Monte Carlo methods and signal processing.
• Cross-language integration (C++, Python, Java) and network protocols for real-time interfaces.
• DoD security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities
