Job summary

Leidos is seeking a senior software developer for the FS2 Aero team in St. Louis, MO.

This 6-month temporary-to-permanent role involves designing and coding software solutions for the Aeronautical Navigation Office with a focus on open-source integration and web display. The candidate will work with C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and shell scripting, maintain code in GitLab, and apply DevOps within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI prior to start.
• Requires BS degree or certification and 6–12 years of relevant experience; Masters with 6–10 years acceptable.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with JavaScript, Python, or C# development.

Responsibilities

• Build software coding knowledge and modify existing GOTS code to integrate open-source solutions for display in a web application.
• Work with programming languages including C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Shell scripting.
• Create and document new and existing functionality in gitlab and apply DevOps practices within an Agile construct.
• Participate in Agile software development initiatives (standups, planning, increment planning) using Jira/Confluence.
• Collaborate with team to assess tickets and ensure testing and delivery per User Story Acceptance Criteria.
