Job summary

Leidos FS2 Aero team in Missouri is seeking a junior software developer for a 6-month, temporary-to-permanent role to design and code software solutions for the Aeronautical Navigation Office. The candidate should have a baseline understanding of software development and be eager to contribute to mission-focused projects.

Responsibilities include modifying existing GOTS code to integrate open-source solutions for web display, using C#/Java/JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Shell scripting;

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Must be able to obtain TS/SCI prior to starting.
• BS degree or certification and 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with JavaScript, Python, or C# development.
• Experience with web-enabled applications and SOA/Web Services.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build software knowledge and modify existing GOTS code to integrate open-source solutions for web display.
• Work with languages including C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Shell scripting.
• Create and document functionality in GitLab and apply DevOps principles within an Agile construct.
• Participate in Agile software development activities and ensure testing per User Story Acceptance Criteria.
