Job summary

The Leidos FS2 Aero team is seeking an experienced software developer to contribute to design and coding of software solutions for the Aeronautical Navigation Office. This six-month assignment is a temporary-to-permanent hire based on performance and mission needs.

The role involves using C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and shell scripting to enhance web applications, maintain GOTS code, and integrate open-source solutions. Strong collaboration in an Agile DevOps environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• BS degree or certification required; experience may substitute
• 4+ years experience with JavaScript, Python, or C# development

Responsibilities

• Build software coding knowledge and modify existing GOTS code to integrate open-source solutions for display in a web application.
• Work with programming languages including C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Shell scripting.
• Create and document new/existing functionality in GitLab and use DevOps tools to deliver features in an Agile context.
• Participate in program Agile software development initiatives (standups, planning, Increment planning) using Jira/Confluence.
• Collaborate to assess tickets to ensure testing and delivery per User Story Acceptance Criteria.
