Job summary

Canfieldpublishing is seeking a Software Delivery Manager to drive delivery of web-based clinical platforms used for medical imaging review and data workflows. You will translate business and clinical needs into technical requirements and organize work into manageable increments.

The role requires hands-on project ownership, strong technical fluency, and ability to operate in a flexible, evolving environment while coordinating with development and DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in technical project management or product delivery for web-based platforms or complex software systems.
• Strong understanding of Git-based workflows, branching, environments, and release processes.
• Hands-on Jira experience managing backlogs, sprints, and delivery tracking.
• Agile/Scrum practitioner with PMP, CSPO, or similar certification.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of projects and platform features, breaking down requests into actionable work.
• Collaborate with IS, software development, testing, product, and business stakeholders to align priorities.
• Translate needs into clear, testable requirements and maintain supporting documentation.
• Organize backlogs in Jira, implement lightweight sprint structures, and provide visibility into risks and timelines.
• Transition release planning to milestone-driven releases with quarterly planning and progress tracking.
