Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking a senior software leader to define the technical strategy for large DoD/IC software programs and align it with customer needs. The role requires collaboration with hardware teams to deploy software and evaluate performance across embedded systems.

Ideal candidates have extensive Python and C/C++ expertise, embedded development background, and TS/SCI eligibility, with 10+ years in DoW/IC environments and 5+ years on OPIR missions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering.
• 10+ years experience with software development on DoW/IC programs.
• 5+ years experience with OPIR missions on DoW/IC programs.
• TS/SCI eligibility.
• Experience with Python and C/C++.
• Experience with embedded software development.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy for execution of large software programs (technical blueprints, design, interfaces, capability needs).
• Communicate to senior management & customers to align software strategy with internal roadmaps and customer needs.
• Collaborate with hardware development teams to develop test procedures, deploy software, & evaluate embedded performance.
• Evaluate & select tools, programming languages, frameworks.
• Assure software meets standards & requirements for quality, reliability, performance, security, & usability.
