Job summary

Radiance Technologies, based in the United States, seeks a senior software-focused leader to define technical strategy for large DoD/IC programs and guide cross-functional teams in design, testing, and integration of embedded software.

The role requires TS/SCI eligibility, deep experience with Python/C++, and collaboration with hardware teams to deploy software and evaluate performance. Strong mentoring and risk-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development on DoW/IC programs.
• 5+ years experience with OPIR missions on DoW/IC programs.
• TS/SCI eligibility.
• Experience with Python and C/C++.
• Experience with embedded software development.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy for large software programs (tech blueprints, design, interfaces).
• Communicate strategy to senior management and customers to align with roadmaps and needs.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy for execution of large software programs (technical blueprints, design, interfaces, capability needs)
• Communicate to senior management & customers to align software strategy with internal roadmaps and customer needs
• Mentor engineering & development teams, perform design & code reviews
• Closely collaborate with hardware development teams to develop test procedures, deploy software, & evaluate embedded performance
• Evaluate & select tools, programming languages, frameworks
• Manage technical & programmatic risk – prototype designs, develop mitigation strategies, communicate risks
• Assure software meets standards & requirements for quality, reliability, performance, security, & usability

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering
• 10+ years experience with software development on DoW/IC programs
• 5+ years experience with OPIR missions on DoW/IC programs
