Radiance Technologies in Huntsville, AL, seeks a senior software architect to define the technical strategy for large DoD/IC software programs and to align roadmaps with customer needs. You will mentor teams, review designs, and work closely with hardware groups on test procedures and embedded deployments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of software experience in defense programs, TS/SCI eligibility, and strong Python/C/C++ and embedded development skills.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering.
• 10+ years of software development on DoW/IC programs.
• 5+ years experience with OPIR missions on DoW/IC programs.
• TS/SCI eligibility.
• Experience with Python and C/C++.
• Experience with embedded software development.

Aufgaben

• Define technical strategy for execution of large software programs (technical blueprints, design, interfaces, capability needs).
• Communicate to senior management & customers to align software strategy with internal roadmaps and customer needs.
• Mentor engineering & development teams, perform design & code reviews.
• Collaborate with hardware development teams to develop test procedures, deploy software, & evaluate embedded performance.
• Evaluate & select tools, programming languages, frameworks.
• Manage technical & programmatic risk – prototype designs, develop mitigation strategies, communicate risks.
• Assure software meets standards & requirements for quality, reliability, performance, security, & usability.
