Job summary

TechFlow, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Software Architect / Lead Software Engineer to drive the architectural design and development of secure, scalable DoD software solutions in Montgomery, AL.

You will lead teams across the lifecycle, emphasizing open-standard technologies, high-quality code, and robust security practices. The role requires leadership across DevSecOps, QA, and cybersecurity collaboration, with a focus on maintaining strong test coverage, reliable architectures, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience developing Java enterprise applications.
• Strong experience with Java enterprise development, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs and Microservices architectures.
• Experience with SonarQube, GitLab CI/CD, SAST tools.
• Experience developing secure software in a DevSecOps environment.
• Familiarity with RMF/STIG compliance and WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and implementation of scalable, secure software solutions using open-standard technologies.
• Develop and maintain software using Java enterprise practices and frameworks.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain code in Government-owned Git repositories.
• Provide technical leadership and promote secure development practices.
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure quality and standards compliance.
• Ensure automated quality and security through CI, testing, and SAST.
