Job summary
TechFlow, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Software Architect / Lead Software Engineer to support a DoD modernization program in Montgomery, AL.
You will lead architectural design and development of scalable, secure software using open-standard technologies and collaborate with DevSecOps, testers, DBAs, and Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The role requires strong Java enterprise experience, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices, with focus on secure coding, SAST, and
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience developing Java enterprise applications.
- Experience with Java enterprise development, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs & Microservices.
- Experience with software quality and security tools (SonarQube, GitLab CI/CD, SAST).
- Experience in DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and RMF/STIG compliance.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and technical implementation of scalable, maintainable, secure software solutions using open-standard technologies.
- Develop and maintain software using modern Java enterprise practices and frameworks.
- Code, test, and maintain sources in Government-owned Git repositories.
- Provide technical leadership and promote secure coding practices.
- Mentor engineers and drive adoption of modern development tools and practices.
- Ensure CI, automated testing, and SAST meet quality and security requirements.
- Address security findings and remediate technical debt.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on RMF/STIG compliance.
