Job summary

Inhabit, a global PropTech software company, seeks a Software Architect to lead high-level system design, ensuring scalable, secure solutions aligned with business goals. You will set technical standards, evaluate technologies, and guide multiple engineering teams across projects.

Lead complex architecture projects, contribute code across languages, and collaborate with DevOps to build robust deployment pipelines in cloud environments (Azure/AWS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level experience with C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
• Expert experience with AI-enabled development tools and workflows (Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
• Strong experience with SQL Server and stored procedures.
• Proficient with Git/GitHub, branching, PRs, and code reviews.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CircleCI).
• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker, Linux).
• Experience with OAuth/Auth0 authentication flows.
• Ability to communicate with executives and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement internal tools, accelerators, templates, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Serve as a technical architecture partner for engineering teams and standards.
• Develop and maintain applications, services, APIs, and integrations using C#, .NET.
• Create and improve technical documentation, onboarding guides, and playbooks.
• Collaborate to modernize development workflows using AI-assisted tools.
• Support database development with SQL Server stored procedures and queries.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation across platforms.
• Translate technical concepts for non-engineering stakeholders.
• Promote secure, scalable, API-driven development across teams.
• Support Docker and Linux-based development environments.
